Willys-Overland Motors produced the original Jeepster from 1948 to 1951. It was developed to fill the gap from Jeep's existing utility vehicle market to the passenger automobile market, therefore becoming one of Americas first cross-over vehicles. They are perhaps one of the most overlooked, but interesting, vehicles in the storied off-road maker’s past: a sporty automobile rather than an off-road vehicle, never offered with four-wheel drive or in any commercial pretenses. The base model included many luxury features for the time, but was never really marketed as such by Willys. In total, almost 20,000 were manufactured.

This 1950 Jeepster, one of only 5,800 built in said year of production is absolutely stunning finished in a beautiful yellow and black color combination. This Jeepster was completely taken apart and restored over several years. All mechanicals were gone over and freshened up to make sure it has the reliability to go along with its good looks. The Jeepster also has a brand new top, side curtains and top boot to make it as good with the top up as it does down. The 4 cylinder motor, backed by a 3-speed with overdrive, make this a spunky little Jeepster and very fun to drive on those tops down days.
